I think we all have read the “Observations …” article of Jason Gibb earlier this month (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/8-observations-building-food-business-jason-gibb/ )

The first point he mentions in there “Co-founders are crucial” is one of the issues some us are indeed struggling – including myself. I have a strong network of people across the world – literally – from the Philipines to the USA; my Skype list of people with whom I have spoken in the last 30 days are over 200 strong (‘have never met any one of them; know most of them more than ten years); collaborations start at 4:45 am in the morning; we turn out systems from £250 – £50m … but I struggle to find the right co-founder for my current initiatives.

I can, therefore, confirm that the first point of Jason’s article “Co-founders are crucial” is indeed a legitimate and strong point.

However, before you (and I) cut our wrists, we should be aware that there is a growing culture where more “One-Person Businesses” succeed by breaking the $1m in Revenue. The following article is an inspiration for those who don’t find the right co-founder … don’t let it stop you!! https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/307233
